Training, professional experience and main tasks in the project

Degree in Forestry Engineering (University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, UTAD), with training in Renewable Energy Sources Management (Catholic University), with certification and experience in training and energy efficiency (AML and ISQ certification) .

Since 1993, it has been active in renewable energy sources (main knowledge in residual biomass), policies and measures for the management of natural resources (ICN, CBE and Aflops) and energy efficiency.

Responsible for the creation (2006), development and management of the Arrábida Energy and Environment Agency, ENA, where she works as a delegate administrator and executive director, she also worked in the areas of energy and environment in the municipalities of Palmela and Loures (2008-2015) .

With experience in promoting renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, she has developed knowledge for the design, implementation and coordination of development and cooperation projects within national and European funding programs, participating as a coordinator and partner in several projects national and European:

PROFLOREN (Altener / 96-98), MEDFORE (Fair / 99-01), RURAQUA21 and GEO-LINK (Interreg IIIB Sudoe / 03-05), BIORREG-FLOREST and C.ENERGETICA (Interreg IIIB Atlantic Area / 04-06) WATER TOUR (Interreg IIIC / 04-07), Creation of ENA (IEE / 05-08), deSOLaSOL (IEE / 06-08), PROMOTION 3E (IEE / 08-11), PERIPHERIA (CIP-Pilot actions / 11 (PPEC / 11-12), Recoil (IEE / 12-15), Sustainable Tourism (PPEC / 17-18) and COMPOSE (Interreg MED / 16-19).

It holds competencies in communication strategies and development of sustainability reports (GRI4), managing the process of participation of the Municipality of Palmela in the Pact of Mayors (2009), namely in the evaluation of the implementation of the Plan of Action for Sustainable Energy.
