Training, professional experience and main tasks in the project

Master in Environmental Engineering, environmental systems profile, Faculty of Science and Technology, New University of Lisbon.
Experience in projects carried out in the following institutions:
- At the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the New University of Lisbon, as a research fellow, where he participated in updating the emissions inventory of the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region from 2011 to 2014 and the North Region from 2014 to 2018, preparation of the Air Quality Improvement Plan and the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region for the pollutants PM10 and NO2 particles in the agglomerations of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, preparation of the environmental impact assessment of the Lisbon Metro Expansion Plan (connection of the Yellow and Green lines) and participation in traffic counts.
- At the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Coimbra University, as research fellow, he participated in the experimental campaign of air quality monitoring (preparation, execution and data analysis), preparation and processing of pollutant concentration data, through the European service Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS), elaboration of an application of the emission model at an urban scale, development of an online application, creation and management of the research projects' websites.
- At ENVIRO, as Environment Engineer, where he performed monitoring of environmental parameters, communication with stakeholders (suppliers, partners, customers), monitoring of internal and external audits and participation in recruitment processes.
- At Nemus, as Environment Engineer, he prepared Expressions of Interest, technical proposals, participated in national and international projects (Angola, Honduras, Mozambique) where he developed Environmental Impact Studies, Environmental Management Plan, Resettlement Policy Framework, Meetings with stakeholders and field work.
He has been working at ENA since May 2023 on projects in the area of the environment, namely calculation of emissions, responsible for the follow-up and monitoring of the Sustainable Energy Action Plans of Setúbal and Palmela, Used Cooking Oil Route, Green Libraries, environmental certification Green Seal and responsible for the executive coordination of the environmental education project Maletas da Sustentabilidade with the schools of the ENA municipalities (Palmela, Sesimbra and Setúbal).
